The woman behind CTC Bookkeeping
I know small-business owners pour so much of themselves into what they’ve built—so much so that somewhere along the way, it becomes a passion.
Well, welcome to my passion.
I’d like to introduce you to the woman behind the scenes, tell you a little about myself, and share why I decided to create CTC Bookkeeping. So, here we go...
Hi, I’m Corrin — Owner & Lead Bookkeeper of CTC Bookkeeping.
Nice to meet you!
I’m in my late 20s, a mom to a young son, and a fur mom to two dogs and a cat. I was born and raised in Maryland, where I started working as a cashier at Home Depot when I was just 16. That’s where I first discovered my interest in the financial side of business.
I eventually began a career in the medical field and stayed in that career until about three years ago, when I decided it was time for a big change. I packed up and headed toward Georgia—but apparently South Carolina had other plans for me. 😂
We stopped in South Carolina overnight after a long day of traveling in January... and three years later, we’re still here!
I created CTC Bookkeeping because I wanted to build a business that does things a little differently. Much like myself, I’ve never really been a “stay inside the box” kind of person. I’ve always had a habit of doing things in ways that probably shouldn’t work...
BUT somehow, they do.
And, well, that’s part of the reason we’re here today.
As a fur mom, a human mom, and now a business owner, I know what it feels like to have a million things going on at once. Some days it feels like I’m constantly running from one thing to the next.
And when the workday is finally over? I want to go home and spend time with my family.
I know many other business owners feel the same way.
The last thing you should have to do after spending all day running your business is spend your evening stressing over your books, trying to figure out where everything goes, or wondering whether everything is organized correctly.
That’s one of the biggest reasons I created CTC Bookkeeping.
I wanted to build a bookkeeping business where clients feel comfortable asking questions, actually understand what’s happening with their finances, and know they have someone in their corner—someone who cares about their business almost like family.
For me, CTC Bookkeeping is about more than numbers.
It’s about giving business owners some of their time back. It’s about helping them feel more confident in their business. And most importantly, it’s about giving them more time to focus on what matters most—growing the business they worked so hard to build and spending time with the people they love.
Clear books. Less stress. More freedom.
